
Two stage coal gasifier
Application:
Coal gasifier can be widely used in furnaces in different industries, such as metallurgy, nonferrous metals, chemicals, building materials, glass, ceramics, fire-resistant materials, lime firing, kaolin and graphite drying. Producer gas has the advantages of abundant coal resources and relative lower costs compared with natural gas and LPG.
Gasification principle:
Gasifier inside can be divided into ash layer, oxidation layer, reduction layer, drying layer and empty layer. Gasification agent(air+steam) goes into inside of gasifier and reacts with coal after preheating, gas is generated by oxidation and reduction reactions. Two stage gasifier, on one hand, can achieve higher heat value gas and light tar, on the other hand it can achieve more gas due to complete gasification.
Structural features of two stage gasifier
Advantages of two stage gasifier:
1.Coal standards required can be relatively lower.
2.Gas heat value of two stage gasifier can be 10% higher than relevant single stage gasifier.
3.Gasification efficiency is 5% higher than single stage gasifier.
4.Tar generated is light tar, tar fluidity is good, it is easy to transport, and it’s value in use is higher.
5.Adaptive capacity to load change is strong, gasifier running is stable, labour intensity is lower.
6.Process system is simple, equipments are compact, floor space is relatively less.

8.Gasification raw material is bituminous coal, economic benefit is good.
9.Less sewage water, and it is easy to be handled, effect of environmental protection is good.

Technical process of two stage hot coal gas station
Two stage hot coal gasifier: is mainly used for gasifying bituminous coal.
Advantages:
A、Small in size and investment(by comparison with cold coal gasifier),gas heat value is higher(5800-6500 KJ/Nm3),temperature of gas outlet is higher(250-300℃)
B、Gasification effect is better than that of single stage hot coal gasifier.
C、Gasification efficiency and gas output are higher.
D、Less ash comes out along with up stage gas.
E、Tar generated in dry distillation stage has a good fluidity, and it is easy to be handled and used.
Disadvantages:
A、Gas is not clean enough.
B、Requirements to gas booster and burner will be higher if higher pressure before kilns is required.
Technical process of two stage cold coal gas station
Two stage cold coal gasifier: it is mainly used for gasifying bituminous coal, environment friendly wind cooling form is adopted, very less phenol water is generated, phenol water can be handled by equipments themselves, environmental requirements can be satisfied, operation environment in gas plant is good.
Advantages:A、Gas generated is clean enough, gas heat value is higher.
B、Less ash comes out along with up stage gas.
C、Gasification efficiency and gas output are higher.
D、Tar generated in dry distillation stage has a good fluidity, and it is easy to be handled and used.
E、Gas pipelines are not easy to be blocked, long gas conveying distance can be achieved by gas booster.
F、Phenol water can be handled automatically, operation environment is good.
